In 1999, I created ‘Road Kill’, a pair of shoes made from the feathers of a lorikeet found on the roadside.
This work marked the beginning of my ongoing use of ethically sourced feathers whenever possible.
Through my work, I honor the bird’s previous life and transform it into a new form of life.
